About this business
Origin story
Naomi Adeyemi trained as a botanical illustrator and started pressing flowers from her own mother's funeral in 2019 because she could not make herself bin them. Two friends asked for the same thing that year. The studio opened the following spring.
Why families choose us
Fresh flowers last four days and then a family has to throw them out, which for some people is a second small loss in a bad week. So half of what we make here is meant to keep: dried and pressed arrangements, framed pieces made from the flowers at the service, seed packets and potted tributes that guests take home and plant. We also run flower bars, which work better at a celebration of life than almost anything else we do. We bring buckets of stems, twine, shears and a table, and guests build something to leave with your person or to take home. Afterwards we will collect the arrangements from the venue and dry them, and about six weeks later you get back a frame or a small standing piece. Ask us about that at the start, though, because the drying has to begin the same week.

Common questions
Can you dry the flowers from the service?
Yes, and it has to start the same week. Tell us before the day and we will collect them from the venue ourselves.
How long does a preserved piece take?
About six weeks from collection. We send you a photograph at the halfway point so nothing arrives as a surprise.
Do flower bars work at a funeral?
At a celebration of life, very well. At a graveside or a formal Mass, less so, and we will say which we think yours is.
